Matthew Brennan Eagle Project (1986)
Matthew Brennan’s Eagle Scout was a “Safety Day” that was held in the Plandome Village Hall to help raise awareness of and help prevent kidnappings. This was held in response to several kidnapping attempts that previous summer. The Safety Day itself consisted of taking ID photographs for the attending children, experts’ advice, fun and games, and refreshments. The Eagle Project was completed May 31, 1986.
