Marijan Bernic Eagle Project (1989)

Marijan Bernic’s Eagle Scout Service Project was to rebuild the pens at the North Shore Animal Shelter in Port Washington, which were greatly damaged by fallen trees from storms earlier that year. His project included taking down the broken pens, fundraising and buying materials for the new pens, and constructing the pens. This project took Marijan and approximately 3 other scouts 154 combined hours to complete. The project was completed by April 11, 1989.
